Now THAT was a Fun-To-Shop Fiesta Sale-ebration!

Wow, did we have a load of fun on Saturday!  Our Fiesta Sale-abration was a huge success, and everybody had a great time shopping & saving on all the new selections for Fiesta, Spring, and Easter.  We had customers come from throughout the city, the far corners of our great state, and even from other countries while they were in town visiting family!  Our customers are simply the best there is, and we love you dearly, "Thank you"!

You should have seen Mom, she looked too cute strutting around in her Fiesta head band with the Minnie Pearl price tag hanging down off of it.  I didn't quite know what to think when I first laid eyes on it Saturday morning ~ what in the world is THAT!  It was so cute and fun to wear that Oliver (Flores) just had to buy it off her head!

Oliver giggling at Mom's Fiesta hair "do"...

And... there were 4 lucky winners of the $25 Gift Certificates too!  Dad had fun calling them this morning to let them know they each had won...
  1. J.D. Davenport
  2. Beatrice Gonzalez
  3. Jesse Rios Jr.
  4. Yilsa de los Santos
Congratulations y'all, enjoy your "Fun-To-Shop" shopping sprees!

Lastly, looked who dropped by to see me Saturday afternoon.  I'm never too busy (napping) to be loved on by Christa, she's sooooo sweet to me!

Well, until next time ~ be richly blessed!

Viva La Fiesta ~ It's Time To Celebrate "Fun-To-shop" Style!

I love April!  It's a special month this year filled with celebration.... beginning with two fun filled and colorful weeks of Fiesta, and ending with the worshipful observance of the greatest event of God's expression of Love for mankind ~ Easter!  We hope you get out and enjoy Fiesta this year, and are richly blessed with Easter.

The latest news here at Alamo Craft Company includes our first annual Midnight Madness Crafts & Crops Night event tomorrow night, April 1st.  From 6pm ~ Midnight a whole gang of ladies will be dinning, crafting and cropping the night away in a half dozen + classes!  I hope you are able to join them, they're going to have a blast!

Also, dad put the Spring garden in last week.  It looks beautiful with all the colors and new flowers.  While I was having my morning go around yesterday a pretty Ruby-Throated hummingbird dropped in next to me and filled up on nectar.  I was so well hidden, it didn't see me!  It was so cute, and so small.  I don't pick on anyone smaller than me, so it was safe. ;^)

Well, until next time, I hope to see you in the store checking out all the wonderful new items and seasonal merchandise that's coming in.  Don't be surprised to find me snoozing after lunch, I love my naps!

I'm looking over... a four leaf clover!

My goodness, is the year flying by or what!  It's March already, and there's so much going on this month!  Daylight Savings Time, St. Patrick's Day, and the official start of SPRING!  I love spring... the refreshing rains it brings and greens up the garden, the birdies (that dad feeds for me) begin to get all flirty, and all the ladies get to wear their new clothes they bought on sale!  Speaking of which, be sure to drop by and check out all the new accessories and jewelry that's coming in for Spring, Easter, and Fiesta ~ it's beautiful!

If you haven't participated in one of our classes yet, please give mom a call and see if she can place you in one that'll make your heart smile.  Shouldn't be a challenge, given there's six classes this month, each with their own venue and teacher.

BTW, we're having our first annual Midnight Madness Crafts & Crops Night on April 1st, from 6PM ~ Midnight.  And that's no joke!  Here's your chance to craft the night away, with over 6 classes & teachers offering... card making, paper crafts, brag books, tote bags, painting on wood, cookie decorating, decorative canvas wall hangings, and more!  Jane will also be offering a Crop & "Make & Takes" in her Scrapbooking Factory as well!  $10 gets you dinner plus the first class of your choice.  Multiple classes of each venue will be offered throughout the evening, and you're welcome to take as many as you like ~ each at their own individual low cost.  Bring your basic supplies, but most classes will come with a kit.  There will also be several Cricut, die-cut, and sewing machines available, plus irons and ironing boards, etc.  * Seats are limited, and reservations are required.  Drop by the front desk or call mom for details.  509-6007

Lastly, I have one request... When ever you come in to shop and visit with the gang, please deodorize your purses.  There's nothing more frustrating than digging around in one looking for that snack and it's not in there!

Happy Valentine's!

Wow!  Did February make an entrance or what!  Brrrrrrr.........  it's so cold out there, I can't even enjoy the garden in the mornings when dad opens.  My little paws just can't take it!  And those poor little birdies out there that he feeds every morning sure apprecaite the breakfast AND afternoon snack he gives them!  I love watching them bounce around on the sidewalk, each trying to get that sunflower seed before the other one does outside of the window... best show in town. ;^)

Well, it looks like we've got quite the month set out before us.  There's going to be a total of NINE classes, including two new teachers!  I hear that Adriana is going to teach a class on baking cookies.  I sure hope she includes one of my favorites... "Chicken Pralines"... mmmm.

Anyway, to see what classes are taking place, when, the cost, and sign-up info, just check out the calender on our website.  Click this link here >>>------> Our Cool Calender of Events

Also, if you're looking for something really special to get your Valentine, drop by and browse all the wonderful new Valentine's gifts that vendors are bringing in.... they're just too cute!

Pssst.... we're having a  Store Wide Sale  on Valentine's Day!  Do drop by and shop for your sweetheart.  It's "Fun-To-Shop" at its best!

Until next time.... be richly blessed.  ~Rosa

Happy New Year!

From all of us... to all of you... we wish you a most prosperous and healthy New Year!

As we closed out 2010 and began the New Year, Rhonda, Zan & I reflected on all that was both wonderful & challenging about 2010.  With this insight, we have put together a program for 2011 that will include the best of last years events and sale-abrations, and meld them into a new year brimming with new & exciting "Fun-To-Shop" excursions.

We invite you to join us this year for each and every event, for we wouldn't want you to miss out on any of the fun and friend-making times!

Of course, our doors are always open to you for whenever you want to spend some time browsing through all the new & unique finds our Vendor's provide.  And, naturally, you're welcome to drop by and see me.  I'm great at being petted, and promise to respond with a loving purrrrrrrr.....  ;^)

Until next time, be richly blessed.
